This is Atop Mount Greylock, a modern day Ilvermorny rpg. At Greylock, we ignore the existence of the characters of Harry Potter and create all original characters so that we can be free to play in the world created by our Queen, JKR.

“She reads books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live”
-The Living, Annie Dillard
Name: Amelia Jade Flynn
DOB: July 21
Occupation: Owns Whale and Pen Co
Amelia is about 5’4 with blue eyes, and long dark red hair. It’s wavy and normally down, but she does wear a hair tie around her wrist to pull it up if need be. She has freckles, that can be seen if she doesn’t wear make-up, which most of the time she doesn’t. She prefers pants to skirts, but if it’s between a dress and a skirt, she’d take the skirt. Tank-tops or graphic tees, she doesn’t own a blouse, nor would she want to own one. She has several leather jackets and Jean jackets. Her shoes on the other hand range from heels to flats, and boots to sneakers of all kinds. She has a tattoo across her foot that says ‘She reads books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live.’
Amelia's main hobby is her books, she could read for hours on end. She likes to play kickball, and softball, but being so far away from home she doesn't play them as often as she used to. She likes to worry and obsess over her brothers. She was particularly good at charms in school, and Care of Magical Creatures.
Being one of the guys

Being so far from her parents, but well that can't be helped

"She wasn't looking for a knight she was looking for a sword."
Amelia Flynn was born and raised in small town outside of Lexington, Georgia. Her parents grew up in the same town, they were high school sweethearts. They got married shortly after high school, and shortly after that they had twins Cade and Dallas, when they were two years old Marshall was born. After having three boys so close in age they decided to wait a few years, but that wasn’t in the plan for them, because after a year and a half of Marshall was born Amelia was born. After Amelia was born her parents definitely said they were done with kids for a while, which was true, because after Amelia they didn’t have another kid. Amelia grew up right behind her brothers always running and playing with them. She learned how to throw a ball, fight with the boys, and fit right at home with boys. Her mother tried to get her to be a little lady, and enroll her in balls and bring her up as a lady, but Amelia wasn’t having any of it. Amelia didn’t know the meaning of sitting still or staying clean, after all she was living in a house full of boys.
When Amelia turned 6, she learned to ride a horse and she knew then that her days would be spent around horse and other animals. She would often come home smelling like a barn, not like it mattered because her father worked at a local farm, while her mother worked down at the café.
When Cade and Dallas turned 11, they were accepted into Ilvermony, and with that Amelia found out about magic and pretty much made a little girls dream come true. Marshall was the next one accepted, meaning that Amelia didn’t have the boys to chase around. Her mother finally got a dress wearing daughter for a year, before Amelia’s 11th birthday approached. She was nervous that just because her brothers got in, she wouldn’t. She was afraid that she was magical like them. The day before her birthday she spent it on a horse trying to keep her mind off of the fact that the next day was her birthday. She couldn’t sleep a wink that night and she waited for the letter that she wasn’t so sure it was coming, but her brothers all promised her it would. Sure enough it came! She would be attending the same school as her brothers. They would raise all kinds of trouble there. She wondered what house she would be sorted into, what kind of wand she would end up with, what the other students would think of her.
Her first year she stuck like glue to her brothers sides although they were all in a different house. Cade was in the Horned Serpents, Dallas was in Wampus, Marshall was in Thunderbird, while Amelia ended in Pukwudgie, they all ended up in different house, Amelia was surprised when Cade and Dallas didn’t end up in the same house, although they were different all together. Amelia’s second year passed by a lot different, she spent more time with the friends she made from her house and with other students her age than with her brothers. She picked up on girly things, like dresses and make-up. These didn’t make it into her wardrobe too often, but she knew how to dress up. Amelia’s fourth year was her first year without Cade and Dallas there, but she still had Marshall to lean on if she needed help. By the time he graduated, Amelia learned how to get along without her brothers. They all lost contact, but they still made it home for holidays so their parents could see them. Their parents were none magic, so it was hard to explain to them their jobs, although Amelia could tell them that she was running a successful book shop, they wondered why she was running a shop so far away from home. Amelia shrugged and said that’s where her life was, every time it was asked.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
