It was the beginning of March, which reminded her of her birthday. A couple of days and she would be turning eighteen. The age that really hit her in the face. It reminded her that she was actually an adult. Last year she became on in the magical community, this year she would also become one in the non-maj world. Sofia would be an adult that was registered as an Animagus and one that could use Apparition – even though the first time she did it outside of school wasn’t quite successful. Just the thought of what happened made her hand go to her right ear. It felt weird to not feel the absence of the top of her ear. Fortunately, she had long hair that could hide it from most ears, which wasn’t the same case when she was. To release some stress from her life, the Wampus had decided to walk around the Mount Greylock Forest. Eventually, she ended up at the lake while lost in thoughts.

Sofia had managed to find some closure before Valentine’s day to be eventually be slapped in the face, a few days later. After Guiles, she promised herself to never get heartbroken again. Yet there she was, feeling quite a lot of stress after another heartbreak. The weirdest thing was that she wasn’t actually in love. The idea of someone loving her in a romantic way had manipulated her into spending time with someone that had acted as if he was in love with her. She should have gone with her instincts and refused him. However, her teenage self couldn’t just throw away the opportunity to have at least one boy like her in the same way Jax liked Blake and Guiles liked Sterling. She sighed as she squatted down at the edge of the lake.

The quietness of water calmed her a little bit. It was quite aesthetically pleasing to look at. In a world full of drama, the lake barely moved. Sofia put a part of her hand into the lake. The water was a lot warmer than she had expected, but the season's weather made it feel more like a refreshing temperature. Swiftly, the girl changed into a dog, shaking her entire body to release some stress. It also felt nice to shake while being a dog, fur going everywhere. The Animagus began drinking from the cold, refreshing water, suddenly hearing something move. Nobody had seen her change, right? Her head looked in multiple directions until she heard someone on the left side of her. As a reaction, she growled, hoping it would scare away the silhouette that was approaching.

Music didn't calm him the same way anymore, the stress and confusion surrounding his life was too much for the simplicity his violin offered. Perhaps a walk would help? A run somewhere wild as a wild animal sounded amazing at that moment. Far away from people, elite or not. Away from prying eyes and gossiping mouthes. Run free, let the wind rush through his fur. Yes, that's what he needed. Something to clear his head and consider his options.

Sebastian made his way down to the lake, though he wasn't intentionally going there. He was surprised to see that he wasn't alone there, as he watched a female form morph into something on four legs. A small smile touched his lips and he continued towards the lake.

The growl was unexpected, but it made him chuckle.
"It's alright, Sofia. It's just me." Would it be weird to pet the Chow Chow, knowing it was his classmate?
"How's the water? I haven't attempted to swim as a fox yet, I'm not even sure I'll know how. Or if my clothes will soak through because of it. I suppose there's one way to find out." Sebastian quickly glanced around for witnesses and then his body morphed into a small red fox. He bonked his head against Sofia and then jumped into the water. As he suspected, his fur kept him quite warm, as he tried to paddle his way around.

The unfamiliar silhouette became something familiar to her. Her fluffy tail started wag from side to side in excitement. All of her worries had disappeared in an instant when she recognized Sebastian, her fellow Animagus. He was honestly the best person to have seen her transform because had already seen it. After Kiernan and Cian, Sofia really didn’t want others to find out about it. She had to be a bit careful. Back in January, she had skimmed through a few newspapers to find something on herself. During that search, she saw something about a seer registration act and track, which included Animagi. The almost eighteen-year-old wasn’t entirely comfortable with it, but she didn’t want to voice it too much. It might be too suspicious if she forced her opinion. The idea of being tracked wasn’t her favorite thing ever. It was even easier to do in her case. She was already registered. Besides, as a teenage Canadian she was one of the people with the least amount of influence.

The chuckle reminded her that it had been quite a while since she talked one-on-one to the younger student. Most of the things she knew about his life right now were through Rosemary – who was with him in the music club. His life had been quite a teenage dream from her perspective. The male Pukwudgie was probably quite satisfied with his life, especially with Katie as his girlfriend. Despite that, is mood didn’t look exceptionally happy when he walked over to the lake. Unfortunately, as a Chow Chow, she couldn’t really ask. Even on his question about the water, she just barked happily. The thought of clothes getting wet wasn’t even something that she had considered. Quietly, Sofia saw Sebastian transform into a small red fox. It was probably one of the only times she would be bigger than the wizard.

Before jumping into the water, the red fox bonked his head against hers. It made her quite playful. So, she followed him – a bit hesitantly – into the water. It was kind of coldish, but her layers of fur were sure to protect her. Sofia followed Sebastian’s movements and started to swim. It went slow, but it did work. With a plan, the Chow Chow paddled towards the little fox, leaning her heavy neck on his small body to try to submerge the fox with the body of water – playfully. After that she would paddle away as quickly as possible back to the ground, hoping that the fox didn’t plan on revenge. However, the swimming went extremely slow because of the amount of fluffy fur on her body.

With the news of the potential Seer Act, Sebastian's thoughts had turned to his classmate, after he'd considered how he felt about it personally. He hadn't really had an opportunity to discuss it with her, without the possibility of prying ears learning about both of them. Besides, he'd just suffered through his own miserable drama and didn't think Sofia would care to witness any of that. But he was worried about her, and he knew she had become an animagus to aid her as an Auror. A tracer on her would be completely destroy her career. The element of surprise would be gone, as her future enemies would know exactly where she was at any given time. At least he could be an understanding ear, should she wish to discuss it with someone.

Swimming seemed to come naturally to him, paddling around and keeping his head out of the water. Sebastian wasn't great in the water as a human, just barely capable of avoiding drowning. As a fox, it was freeing and surprisingly warm. He was surprised when he felt the weight of her head on his back, and tried to hold his breath before going under the water. What a weird sensation! The fox broke the surface quickly, his head shook and snorted out the water from his long nose. He knew it wasn't meant to harm him, but it was a little scary.

Sebastian paddled quickly to her and climbed on her back, suspecting his weight would barely register to her. He shook much of the moisture from his fur. He wanted to know if his clothes would be soaked by the little swim, so he jumped off her back into the water again, and addled his way back out of the water.

The little fox shook as much moisture out of his fur as possible and then transformed back into a human. Water dripped from his hair, his clothes were soaked through. Oops? There was enough chill in the air to cause him to shiver.
"Maybe... that wasn't such a.... good idea..." He chuckled. At least they could use magic to try and dry each other off.

The snort behind her was evidence enough that her playful plan had worked. Sofia was still paddling away from the fox though. She was sure that Sebastian wanted revenge. The little Animagus did the same to her by climbing onto her back. His head would obviously not be heavy enough to put her under water. His entire body did, especially because of the lack of experience in swimming that she had. It was a weird sensation to be surrounded by water as a non-human. She suddenly was more aware of the amount of fur that she had. The feeling was a combination of refreshing and fear. Sofia quickly paddled back up, noticing that the fox was almost at the shore. The chow chow followed her buddy, swimming a bit slower because of her mass.

The small animal morphed into a tall seventeen-year-old right in front of her eyes. She couldn’t help bit laugh deep inside. Sebastian was completely soaked. Well, that confirmed the theory that water even affected their human self even though they were an animal. When her four paws hit the solid ground again, Sofia followed him and changed back to her human form. The cold breeze hit her hard. “Oh Merlin, it’s cold.” All of her clothes were soaked, which was an awful feelings. The Wampus quickly grabbed her wand. She pointed at Sebastian’s clothes with her wand first. Quickly, she performed a powerful Hot-Air Charm, non-verbally. After he was completely dry, she pointed at herself and did the same spell.

So, that’s better,” she put her wand back into the side of her long boots. “It was a fun idea, though,” she giggled, trying to find a spot to sit down. “That swim really helped clearing my mind,” Sofia sat down on top of one of the rocks near the lake. “How have you been lately? I heard you got yourself a girlfriend, congrats.
