Isadora wished that she could turn around and walk right out of the Divinations classroom. She really enjoyed Professor Webquish as her Head of House which was why she had initially started taking Divinations. She didn’t necessarily believe in all of this sort of thing, but she thought it was fun learning all the various ways people attempt to find signs in everything.

Everything except for this.

She had never had a boyfriend or girlfriend. She had never really been interested before. She didn’t have friends. She had no relationship to speak of whatsoever. How exactly was she supposed to be able to do this lesson? There wasn’t anyone that she felt particularly close to except for her mother for her entire life. Her cousins were either younger or older than her so she wasn’t particularly close with them either.

Isadora sighed, her long hair falling in front of her face as she leaned forward onto her desk to look at her book and the blank parchment in front of her. Her thoughts drifted for a moment as she thought about things, about people. She had been getting to know one person that year, he even knew about her enjoyment of music and shared in that. She didn’t really know what he was to her. She hardly knew anything about him but she was finding herself hoping to be around him for a chat or to partner up in classes. She knew that was stupid. He thought nothing of her. She was just a girl he happened to sit near at the return feast, nothing more. It bothered her that she was thinking of him at all.

She had no idea when his birthday was, so she couldn’t very well figure out if they were compatible anyway. Not that it mattered. She wasn’t anyone's type anyway.

Shaking herself out of thoughts of him and firmly keeping her eyes down on her paper instead of looking at him. She didn’t want to be seen as a weirdo for looking at him too much. Instead, she thought about her mom and looked up their friendship compatibility. It was no surprise to her that they seemed so highly compatible. Despite her mother’s wild ways and outgoing or aggressive personality that was the complete opposite to Isadora, they were very close. Her mother was her best friend.

What about her father?

Isadora looked over all the different signs in wonder. She knew nothing of him other than that he did not want to stick around. Would they have gotten along? Would he have liked her at all? Did they are anything in common? Would he have hated having her for a daughter?

She could feel a sort of sadness forming in her chest as she thought about him and immediately pushed the book away from her as though it was the book’s fault that she had started thinking of a man she had never met. Instead, she focused on the parchment in front of her and started writing out the results of her compatibility with her mother since she did not know the birthday of the one person who might have made sense for this assignment and how it all made her feel.

Katie sat in Divinations class, mildly aggravated. She had taken the sleep potion that Chase had offered to make, but it had done little in comparison to the one that she had taken before. The other one had been exquisite. An army of banshees, or perhaps, Veronica, could have been screaming around her and she wouldn’t have woken up. This one, however, left something to be desired. While it had made her sleepy, the potion hadn’t taken her to the point of feeling restful. She had woken up a couple of times during the night. She wondered if she could convince him to make her something stronger. Pulling a sheet of paper out, she began to construct a note to pass to him between classes.

It didn’t work. Is there something better?

She didn’t want to give too much information just in case the note fell into the wrong hands. The lecture finished, Katie looked around for a suitable partner. Her thoughts still on Chase, she spotted Isadora Santoro. Hmm. Not quite what fell into her definition of suitable, but certainly was Chase’s. What did he like about her anyway? Well, she was about to find out.

Pulling up a chair, Katie sat down across from Isadora. She gave her a brilliant smile. “Hi. I figured I need a partner, you need a partner?” In her head, she was thinking about when Isadora’s birthday was and how she matched to Chase. What if they were perfectly suited? They probably were. Her eyes drifted to Isadora’s big brown eyes and full pouty lips. Katie would never be able to compete with those features. Add on the voluptuous body and she was simply doomed. She silently cursed in her head. She had never compared herself to anyone before. Why was she doing it now? She had Sebastian. She should consider herself lucky. More than half the girls in the school were interested in him and she had gotten him. Beyond that, he was completely nice to her and willing to listen to her problems. He was the perfect boyfriend. And hadn’t she said she was going to be a good girlfriend?

Keeping this in mind, Katie chatted with Isadora, as if they had been friends forever, “I’m going to do my compatibility with Sebastian Holtzer. We started dating right before midterm so I can use that for a romantic one. He’s a Capricorn. Who are you going to do?” She paused for a moment before glancing up, her curiosity getting the better of her. “Chase van der Woodsen, perhaps?” She wanted to ask more questions, but she wanted to see Isadora’s reaction first. Continuing on, like nothing was wrong, she said, “For friendship, I’ll probably do Kyara. Do you want to try ours together? Who knows? Maybe we’ll get a 100% signaling that we are destined to be friends. What sign are you? I’m a Leo.”

Working on her first compatibility, Katie checked Leo and Capricorn together and frowned. According to their match, it was a terrible combination. Did they share the same priorities? She wasn’t sure. She supposed it depended on how one looked at it. They were both big on family so that was a positive, but their concern over their own could cause problems. Reading deeper into it, Katie didn’t know what to think. Nothing seemed to be lining up other than they had the possibility of literally working well together. She also didn’t like the part about trust. She had already lied to him. Granted, she hadn’t directly lied, but she had certainly omitted information such as Chase having been at Logan’s and certainly the part about her in his bed. But how was she supposed to explain that without Sebastian getting upset? It had been completely innocent. Chase had been hurt, but she couldn’t tell him that. She was making sure he was okay and had fallen asleep. She thought Sebastian might understand given that he wanted to help others, but then she would have to betray Chase. There was no easy choice when it came down to it.

Isadora was in the midst of writing out the compatibility of friendship with her mother’s sign and her feelings on it when someone took a seat across from her. Her dark eyes looked up from the parchment, thinking of someone else but being completely surprised by who it was that was sitting across from her. A look of uncertainty crossed her features when she eyed Katherine Lavale, by habit, she glanced around for a moment to see if people were watching as she assumed this was some sort of joke and she was the butt of it.

No one seemed to be looking in their direction, but that really only confused her all the more. Katie had friends. She had several friends and a boyfriend. Why was she wasting her time with her? It didn’t make any sense to Isadora. There were plenty of other people to talk to. “Uh, I didn’t realize we needed partners.” Isadora said quietly, her confusion evident within her voice. She quietly listened to Katie talk to her about Sebastian, did she want a medal for having a boyfriend? But she said nothing, just let the Thunderbird titter on until she was asked a direct question.

Who was she doing her romance compatibility on?

Katie’s suggestion on who caught Isadora off guard even though it shouldn’t have. After what she witnessed during the winter formal, she really had no idea why Katie was dating Sebastian except that maybe because Chase was an ass. Isadora snorted quietly, amusement on her face at the very idea of her and Chase ever being compatible. “No thanks. I’m not interested in romance with anyone.” Isadora replied, only lying a tad, but it wasn’t Chase with whom her brain and heart were betraying her for. She would have told the other girl that she could have him all to herself, but somehow, she thought that would make things worse.

“We can if you want. I didn’t really have anyone in mind.” She said honestly. It would be no surprise to anyone that Isadora didn’t have a group of friends with whom she spent her time with. “I’m a Taurus.” She said, looking to her book to see if they were at all compatible as friends. “It seems that we share common interests so a friendship would be good but for romance, we don’t seem compatible. It seems conflicting to me.” Isadora said with a frown. “We can be friends but not lovers.” There was another amused look on her face as she said it.

Obvious surprise played on Katie’s face at Isadora’s reaction to her question. Surprise turned to confusion as her brows wrinkled. Was Isadora lying? Or was she telling the truth? Katie couldn’t tell by her face, but there was a hint of amusement. Was it amusement in that she enjoyed the idea of her and Chase or was it more of an ironic amusement? She didn’t like that she couldn’t tell with Isadora. Normally, she was good at reading people, reading them even when they didn’t give her much to go on, but the idea of Isadora with Chase was clouding her head. The entire idea was driving her crazy, but she tried not to let on. Charm was a better solution. She leaned forward slightly, as though they were best friends. “Not at all? There are plenty of hot guys.” She thought about some of the ones that classified. Kiernan was out of the question, but what about…”Hunter Beaumont?” Was he dating someone? Maybe he was too broody. Maybe she liked smart? “Cian Chevalier?” Maybe she liked the whole emo look. “Caleb Rowen?”

Katie listened while Isadora read their compatibility. She tapped her foot with nervous energy while Isadora talked. Well, that was until she summarized them to being friends and not lovers. Well, had she been wrong about Isadora? Perhaps, she should have been naming some of the more attractive girls. Unable to resist, Katie grinned wickedly. “It doesn’t say that we can’t be lovers. Just that we aren’t compatible for a long term relationship. You do have fantastic mouth.” Katie was mildly flirting, mostly teasing the other girl. She was definitely into guys, but she would have been lying if she said she had never thought about experimenting.

Flipping through, Katie looked for Sagittarius. Overall, they had more than a good compatibility, but she wasn’t sure what she thought about the part regarding softer emotions and remaining tender and sensitive. She wasn’t sure that described Chase, but then, it was hard to know for sure. He had been at his most vulnerable when she had seen him over the holiday. How often did it happen? She tapped her quill on her cheek. She couldn’t quite place her finger on it, but something about the entire situation was bothering her. The potions he had taken. Tender and sensitive. “Do you think all guys have another side to them?” Katie asked aloud, not really talking to Isadora, but still lost in her thoughts.

Katie listed off some of the males in their class, not all of them single, but Isadora was a bit surprised that she hadn’t picked the one that Isadora was thinking of. Of course, he was likely blacklisted from her group of friends because of what happened and maybe that was why he hadn’t come to mind.

Isadora had nothing against the ones named. Cian seemed like an intellect and someone with whom she could have long conversation with should they ever talk, though obviously there would be limitations until they figured each other out. She was fairly certain that Cian was either into Katie’s sister or into the Holger twins so there was no real point in thinking about it. Hunter was dating Elsie and Isadora was just going to avoid that altogether. Isadora was not into the emo look. Biker bar look was fine, she grew up around men and women wearing leather and things, but emo was an entirely different thing.

“Romance, dating...all that just brings on drama and I don’t really want any of that for myself.” Isadora answered her honestly. “I’m sure there are plenty of great guys, but my focus is just graduating.” She thought that was believable enough. Not to say that it was untrue. Isadora was focused on her studies, but that was more to keep her head down than she having a desire to be an adult in the world.

When she finished assessing their friendship compatibility, she looked up at Katie out of the amusement of the whole thing only to regret mentioning the whole lover thing to begin with. She had to force herself not to pull her lips in a bit and chew on them when Katie made a comment about them. She was into guys, wasn’t she? Isadora was confused. “Thanks. It came with my face.” She responded, not sure what else to say about it. Isadora hadn’t thought about girls like that but then, she also hadn’t thought about males either and now she did. She just hoped that Katie didn’t start some other annoying thoughts in Isadora that she did not want.

Isadora went back to looking over matches, her mind wandering again as she looked things over to see how compatible they were with her. She looked up at Katie again with her question, a frown playing lightly at the corner of her lips. “ Everyone has a hidden side to them, what sort of side is the question.”

Katie looked at Isadora with what was surely disbelief on her face. Sure, there were probably a few people that didn’t have the inclination to be in or at least to want to be in a relationship, but given the animalistic tendencies of the average teenager, they were few and far in between. Besides, Isadora hadn’t actually said that she was uninterested in the opposite sex, merely that it brought drama and she didn’t want that. It was a very large distinction. “So, what happens after graduating? Then, you find Mr. Right? Or you go to college and then you still just focus on graduating? So, finally, you end up with your PhD and a mansion with fifty cats?” She knew that she was exaggerating, but wasn’t that the fun in being young? After all, some didn’t have the luxury of not being married before they were in their twenties. She laid her head on her hands and stared up at Isadora. Leaning her head slightly so as to speak, she asked, “Honestly, what are you so afraid of?”

Enjoying the commentary, Katie agreed referring to Isadora’s face and mouth, “They were well paired.” She touched her face with her fingers, feeling around her mouth, nose, and cheeks. “I wish I could change mine.” It was a terrible thought. She knew that there were guys that certainly appreciated her appearance, but she also knew there was one that didn’t. Why did she care? She shouldn’t let his opinion of her bother her, but it did. Yet, she could never seem to get him off her mind. Maybe that was because every time she managed to shove him into some recess of it, he showed up again, bantering, commenting, and once in a while, surprising her. She wanted to push him away, but then it became worse torture not to bare the lashes of his remarks. She worried about what was buried inside of her that she would beg for such a thing rather than run from it. No, she knew what it was. It was the small things like how he had danced with her or when they ended up having to work together in class.

“What do you mean?” Katie asked, curiosity getting the better of her. She hadn’t thought that there was more than one type of hidden side just that there was one. Though, she supposed that it was true. There could be different sides. Her sister’s involved her seer ability, something that she let few people in on. It wasn’t necessarily that it was good or bad. Just that it was hidden. Hers, though, she wasn’t so sure about. She pretended to be the perfect girlfriend. After all, she was dating Sebastian Holtzer. Girls stared at him like he was the last piece of chocolate cake after a stressful day. Was she being unfair to him? She liked him, but where did their future lay? They had talked about her parents and their expectations of her, but was she prepared to present him to her parents? He wouldn’t be completely disapproved of. He was a pureblood with potential. She would just have to convince her parents of that, which she didn’t think would be that difficult, but did she want that?

Isadora smirked at Katie when she questioned her motives after she graduated from school. “I do like cats.” She said. She really had no idea what would happen once she graduated. Isadora honestly never thought there would be someone who would interest her enough to want to go off on that ledge called love with the possibility of slipping and falling or being shoved right off of it. Katie’s directness was a little unnerving but mostly because Isadora didn’t know how to answer it without getting into a long explanation of her mother’s love life.

“I’ve seen what love does to a person when it doesn’t work out.” Was all that she said. Her mother’s pain, even after all these years, could be so fresh and raw that Isadora felt it in her own heart. To love a man so much for so long knowing that he would never love her back the same… Isadora didn’t want that. She didn’t want that pain. She would rather be alone than broken.

Her amusement showed on her face at Katie’s compliment though it shifted slightly to confusion when Katie seemed to examine her own beauty. With a chuckle of disbelief at hearing that, Isadora simply said, “Then you’re an idiot.” She didn’t know if Katie had someone calling her ugly of she was reading magazines telling her that she needed to look a certain way or something, but it was clear that Katie was having some sort of body dysmorphia happening with her face. “I see the way guys stare at you. There is nothing to change and even if guys weren’t staring, you are beautiful and you should always know your own worth.”

Isadora had to think about how to explain things. She didn’t want to use herself as an example because that would be giving herself away, but she wasn’t sure if she could explain it any better. “I think everyone has different sides to them, some they are willing to showcase to the world and others they keep internal for whatever reason.” She started. “For instance, most people just know me as the nice, but otherwise quiet Pukwudgie fifth year and that’s perfectly fine with me. My mom and family know me as this opinionated, sarcastic, but musically inclined girl. And then there’s a part of me that I don’t really show anyone, a little uncertain and awkward sort of person. I’m all of those things but only certain people see certain sides of me.” Isadora said with a shrug.

“Or like my mom, most people who know her, know her as this fun, flirty, wild woman but I know her as this wonderfully complicated and complex woman who is more than just the image she portrays.” Her mother, with all her flaws, would always be the person she looked up to most. “I just think everyone has different parts of them that they are only comfortable showing around certain people, if at all.” She said, thinking of AJ and how she had opened up to him about some things the way she had never done with someone else before. “And not so black and white as good or bad.” She added.

“What’s the saying? Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all?” Katie mused. Her thoughts went to Chase. He hated her yet she still kept going back for more. She liked him more than she cared to admit at times, but she couldn’t find it in her to walk away either. She couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be completely in love with Chase and to always be at the end of his biting sarcasm. Sighing, she added, “Love is never easy.” If it was, everyone would be parading around and holding hands, because they would know instantly that the person they were with was their soulmate. “But what about when it does work out?” Maybe she was being a dreamer, but she wanted that. She wanted to be in love and to have someone love her in return. Maybe she could if she could move past Chase.

Katie sighed. “I know I’m being silly, but I’m so average. Look at you! You have all these amazing curves and seductive features to drive guys wild. I know one guy in particular that does.” She knew she shouldn’t want to change her appearance for a guy. If he didn’t like her the way she was, then he wasn’t worth it, but he drove her crazy. No, she shouldn’t be thinking about him. She had Sebastian and girls swooned over him. She knew that she had to be pretty enough to attract someone like that, but she worried. Was that the only thing he liked about her? Was she just a pretty face? She couldn’t figure out what it was that she wanted. She wanted someone to like her based on personality and was getting angry, because they didn’t like how she looked. She just needed to stop. Instead, she turned her attention towards Isadora. “You really could get any guy you wanted, you know. When you came back from break, all the guys were staring at you.” She shrugged and went back to her book. She didn’t want to make Isadora feel completely uncomfortable though she guessed there was something that made her seem to want to go unnoticed.

Isadora’s explanation seemed to make more sense in a way to why people only saw the same thing that Katie did. “Yeah, that makes sense.” She only saw the side of Chase that he wanted her to see. He only showed her his dislike of her. It was a warning to stay away from him. She chewed on her cheek, tasting the blood to avoid any other emotion she might be feeling. The only time that she had seen him vulnerable had been a time that she would never wish for him ever. But he showed other sides to other girls. Knowing that the answer was probably going to hurt, Katie asked, “What side of Chase do you see?” She was scared to hear the answer, scared to know. She didn’t want to hear about how great he was to Isadora. Maybe, though, maybe hearing it would allow her to move on.

“I prefer to never have loved at all.” Isadora said without hesitation after Katie brought up the saying. Honestly, anyone who had ever dealt with heartache probably would feel that way too. Having seen how far her mother fell each and every time Isadora’s biological father, whoever he was, came back into the picture…Isadora couldn’t imagine that was something her mother would ever look back and say ‘it was worth it because I loved him’. No. Most people were bitter and angry after love. Or sad. Isadora thought about AJ and how sad he was whenever he thought of Kaylee. Not that Isadora blamed him. But she didn’t know why anyone would ever say that such pains were so worth it.

“Then good for those people, I guess.” Isadora said with a shrug. “Maybe one day I’ll be in a place where I want to have a relationship and find that love interest, but it’s not really my priority now.” It was about as honest as she could really get about it. She didn’t really ever know if she would find such a thing and even then there was still that high percentile chance that she would get her heart broken but as an adult she thought maybe she would be able to handle it better than she would now.

Isadora narrowed her eyes at Katie as she insisted that Isadora had the looks that would drive men wild. The was exactly the opposite of what Isadora wanted. “If a guy is only interested in me because of my physical attributes, then they weren’t worth my time to begin with anyway.” She said, irritation in her voice at the very idea of it. Girls who went over and above changing their appearance because they wanted males to look at them annoyed Isadora. They were pathetic and had no self-worth of confidence which only made them targets for jerks to use and abuse them. “If you think that you’re going to find any sort of substantial or long-lasting relationship with a guy based on your looks, I hate to tell you this, but you’re going to be sorely mistaken.” Isadora said to her as Katie was still focused on how she looked and comparing herself to Isadora. The idea of knowing people were looking at her because of her change of clothes and straightened hair just confirmed for her the exact reason as to why she hadn’t wanted to do it in the first place.

The body language that Isadora had read at the winter formal had been accurate and it was becoming more apparent as she spoke to Katie. This was now the second mention of Chase for no other reason than Katie’s curiosity. Wasn’t sure with Sebastian? Wasn’t he supposedly quite the ‘catch’ for a girl to have? “He was a sarcastic ass.” Isadora told her. “But he was entertaining, so I didn’t see the harm in sharing a table with him. Anyway, how do your numbers look with Sebastian?” She asked, returning the topic to the other girl’s would be boyfriend.

“How do you know?” Katie questioned. She didn’t know how someone could so readily assume their preference without having ever actually known. How could one say that they preferred not to have loved if they had never actually been in love? It seemed a bit counterintuitive. However, it wasn’t her place to try and convince Isadora otherwise. She played with the edge of her book, shrugging slightly, as though it weren’t of any actual importance. Rather she drew the question to herself, “I would rather have loved.” Didn’t she already feel that way? She had already loved and lost, because she had never had him in the first place. Yet, she never wanted to give up the feeling that she had. “I could live a thousand years and still nothing would ever compare to that one moment.” Maybe that’s why she kept trying to get it back.

Confusion flitted across Katie’s features momentarily. She still thought that Isadora was interested in Chase, but maybe she had it wrong. Placing a warm smile on her face, Katie reached her hand across the table and gently touched the other girl’s arm. “I hope you do find that place.” She meant every word that she said. She did want Isadora to find someone that she loved and that loved her. She just didn’t want that person to be Chase. “Who knows, maybe it’ll come sooner than you think?” The question was rhetorical, but one never knew. Even seers couldn’t always predict love. Besides, there were some really cute boys in their year and in the year above. “There’s always Logan Beaumont. He’s definitely a catch.” She hoped that her friend didn’t mind that she was trying to set him up. With some of the girls that had been after him as of late, he could definitely use one that had some sense. She could see things working out with the two of them.

At Isadora’s words, Katie mischievously grinned. “Oh, but that’s where you’re wrong, dear Isadora.” She leaned back in her chair and propped her feet up on the chair next to her. She gave a knowing look. “I attracted Sebastian just well and he is rather substantial and he wants things to be long-term. I think that would mean that you’re the one mistaken.” Katie paused for a moment to allow the words to sink in before she pulled back up and leaned forward. “However, you’re right in most cases. My looks will attract guys that just care about that, but the substantial ones fall just as easily. Let’s be real. As much as we would like to say otherwise, looks matter. So, what if I use my looks as an asset? Once they’re attracted, I just have to weed the undesirable ones out. It’s my choice. Can you say you have the same one? You may find a guy noticing you for hiding and you may allow yourself to fall for him, thinking that he noticed something else other than your invisibility. Is that any better? Or is that why you prefer to be alone?”

Katie’s features faltered when Isadora told her about how entertaining Chase was. It confirmed some of what she thought. Chase did like Isadora. She didn’t know why she should care so much. Maybe Chase did like the exotic looking girls. Isadora was pretty, even if she tried not to be. She was going to end up with guys after her, whether or not she wanted it, but Katie hoped that Isadora would make it into her choice rather than theirs. She had to let Chase go. He wasn’t interested in her and never would be. Maybe she just needed to try somewhere else. “Oh, our numbers were pretty low,” Katie stated, waving her hand. “So, what do you think of that AJ kid that’s in our class? I heard that he was held back a year. He’s pretty cute, right? Maybe if things don’t work with Sebastian, I’ll ask him out.”

How did she know? She lived with it, that’s how. “My mother loved a man so much that when he broke her heart, he broke all of her. And every time she sees him, he breaks her all over again.” Isadora said, her voice harsh as she tried to keep emotions out of it. She didn’t say that the man was her biological father or anymore of the history of it. “That’s enough for me to know that I would rather never know or experience that type of pain because I have had to go my whole life picking up the pieces of it.”

Katie was far more optimistic about things than Isadora was. She couldn’t say whether or not she would ever fall in love, that was something she didn’t have control over, but she wasn’t going to waste her life daydreaming about it either.

Isadora was confused by this whole conversation. She was trying to be empowering to Katie by saying finding there should be more to her than just looks and any guy that hooks up with her because of her looks and her looks alone, there was no point to them. Katie was now trying to prove that wrong, but Isadora still didn’t think that she was wrong. She didn’t know her or Sebastian’s relationship, but it didn’t necessarily sound very solid to her. “Am I though?” Isadora asked her, an eyebrow raising. “If you have attracted Sebastian as you are now, why were you just talking about wanting to change your looks?” Isadora asked. “Is your relationship as substantial and long-term as you are saying or is there someone else that you want to attract and that’s why you want to change your features?” It was a challenging question and one she expected Katie to possibly get upset over but she was the one who opened that door, not Isadora.

“My whole point is that I don’t want to attract someone on looks alone.” She explained. “I get that attraction is part of the whole package, but that’s just it, it’s a package. If you want to be with me, be with me for all that I am, not just my physical attributes. I’m more than just my face and body.” Isadora was not naive to think that attraction didn’t play a part in things, she just didn’t want to be with someone, if she was ever with someone, who was so shallow to only care about that. “Looks fade. If someone is with me for that only, then it’s not real. As soon as my looks become something he doesn’t want, he’ll disappear too. I don’t want to waste my time with that. So if that’s what a relationship is about, I’d rather just be alone.”

Katie’s dismissal of her low numbers with Sebastian was a bit of a surprise. If they were happy, wouldn’t she be worried that they were so low? Unless she just didn’t care about that? However, her next comment completely took Isadora off guard and she was sure the surprise showed before she quickly recovered from it. AJ? Isadora took a quick glance at him, willing her body not to react to the idea of Katie suddenly taking her interest into him. It wasn’t her place and anyone was allowed to like him. “Oh yeah, he’s alright, I guess.” Isadora replied, her focus going to her book in front of her as her fingers nervously played with the pages. “His girlfriend died last year, so he missed a lot of school and had to be held back.” Isadora explained. Katie was newer so she likely didn’t know his story.
