This is Atop Mount Greylock, a modern day Ilvermorny rpg. At Greylock, we ignore the existence of the characters of Harry Potter and create all original characters so that we can be free to play in the world created by our Queen, JKR.

Due to the small class sizes currently, we will be combining some of the class years together into three separate groups. Beginners are first and second years, Intermediates are third, fourth, and fifth years, and Advanced classes are sixth and seventh years.
Elective courses, Muggle Studies and Divination are available to third years and above.
Each Professor will create a lesson that will be challenging for each of the year group. For instance, Charms Beginner lesson has the first years working on the lumos spell while the second years’ work on the lumos maximus spell. We want to ensure that the older students are still working on more difficult spells than their younger counter parts.
The class posts will be pinned under their appropriate year group for people to review. Those who wish to write a post in the lesson will create a new topic and post separate from the actual lesson. This way, people can either respond directly to you or they can post a separate new topic for someone else to respond to. This will keep class threads from becoming overly complicated if they were in just one post.
We will have the occasional event on the site, both for plotting and just for fun. The Events will run the way classes to for posting. The event will be pinned and those who wish to post in it will create a new topic for people to respond to. For instance, each new term a Welcoming Feast post will be pinned in the Grand Hall. Those who want to post in the feast will create a new topic so that other characters can reply directly to them, etc. It’s to keep things from feelings less chaotic if everyone was posting in the same thread at one time.
Please let us admins know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this process. If any authors feel like this is not working well, we can regroup and work out a better system for this together.
