This is Atop Mount Greylock, a modern day Ilvermorny rpg. At Greylock, we ignore the existence of the characters of Harry Potter and create all original characters so that we can be free to play in the world created by our Queen, JKR.

Quidditch Posting and Points
The best way that we figured to do this is by posting in sections for any sort of practice, game, or scrimmage. A section for the Seekers and a section for the Chasers/Keepers. The Beaters divide between protecting the Seekers and/or the Chaser/Keeper and post within these sections. Beaters, make sure that you are specifying which bludger you are hitting (Bludger 1 or Bludger 2) and verify with any other post that it would make sense that they are hitting that one. Spectators will have their own separate section.
Points will work like they do for classes. Long, detailed, and realistic posts earn higher points. If your character does something that goes against the rules or is not something realistically possible, you will lose points for your team. As this is something new for us, we will work with the Coach to make sure goal scoring is accurate for a game IC (these do not add or take away any points received OOC) because we all know that people make several attempts in a game and they can last for several hours. It would not be realistic to only have two attempts and the end score is only 0-150, etc.
**as we figure out the best way to do this, this information may change over time**
