This is Atop Mount Greylock, a modern day Ilvermorny rpg. At Greylock, we ignore the existence of the characters of Harry Potter and create all original characters so that we can be free to play in the world created by our Queen, JKR.

New Quidditch Posting and Points
As we go through trial and error with every game posted, these rules will shift and change as we go along and find better, more improved ways of playing.
We have changed the style of Quidditch from a two week regular posting game to a one week Rapid Fire game. This means that there will not be any word count rules and posts will not be counted towards your overall posting goals just like any other R/F event. This will allow for a faster response time for authors.
There will still be two specific threads for the game. One thread designated for Seekers and one thread designated for Chasers/Keepers. Beaters are allowed between the two threads. The reason for the thread separation is to prevent any disruption between the chaser/keeper posts as that will disrupt the flow of the game and can cause confusion. Seekers can react to the game by multiple posts in their own thread. Beaters must mark any Bludger in their post as Bludger 1 or Bludger 2 in order to keep track of where these bludgers have gone. Chasers and Keepers must be aware at all times of where the bludgers were aimed.
Spectator threads will have their own separate thread and can be R/F during the game.
The majority of points will be based off the first post that each team player has posted. Although it is Rapid Fire, the first post a team player has should be long and detailed with realistic reactions. These posts can earn up to 10 points.
Additional points will be based off IC scoring. Keepers do have say in whether or not they save the goal, however, this does not mean that the opposing team has full control over this. The Coach will access the posts to determine if that is something that should have been too difficult for a save or not. This is to make sure that people are playing fairly.
Points can be taken from a team if their posts are too unrealistic, a player God-mods, or breaks any other rule that goes against the site.
At the end of the week, the Coach will PM the Seekers to advise who caught the snitch.
This may change at any time, so please be sure to double check this before any game.
