Olyvia regretted not going to her dorm to get a bomber-jacket in between classes. Yes, she always had an extra sweater – which was way too big for her and even covered her uniform skirt - with her because somehow she felt awfully cold even inside the castle. However, the sweater didn’t really give the warmth that she needed. It was cold when she sprinted to the gathering place for Care of Magical Creatures. An unfamiliar face welcomed them. Well, for Olly it was an unfamiliar face. She had only received lessons from Professor Locklear before. Was the man a substitute? His facial features were really striking, but the man was a bit too old for her to call him handsome or good-looking. The Professor looked even older than her parents, which was very well possible. Her parents were both eighteen when her mother gave birth to her. The strong facial features of the man would be her mother’s type. Her type was more baby-face like with big, blue eyes. Unconsciously, she was searching for a boy that fit that description. The Thunderbird felt a lot more comfortable with him around. Besides, he was the person she had known the longest at Ilvermorny because of his wonderful tour.

Eventually, Olyvia found a place to stand between two strangers to listen to the male professor. Olly liked Magizoology. Her first school, Castelobruxo, specialized in it. They had done a lot of fun events involving all kinds of magical creatures. The students even got their own puffskein to take care of. The school’s relation to nature and animals was most likely caused by its location in the Amazon, a location that was a hundred times warmer than there. Even though her teeth were chattering, she listened as the Professor Ryan introduced himself. The magical creature was recognizable, because of the statue that had moved during her Sorting Ceremony. A Thunderbird. Interesting. Olly never discussed Thunderbirds back at Castelobruxo. The reason behind it was that they were actually native to North America, which she learned from the relatively good-looking professor. The Brazilian witch wondered if she had the same personality traits as the bird. Why would she have been sorted into her house, otherwise? The girl tilted her head, observing the giant bird. It was indeed beautiful.

As soon as Olyvia started wondering how the birds’ feather would look during a storm, Professor Ryan told them to get an umbrella and share it with them. Despite the cold, Olly was overjoyed that they could witness the Thunderbird showing its true colors. She quickly walked over to get one of the umbrellas, which was a big one. As if her day couldn’t be better, despite the weather. The female student was able to spot Kurt without an umbrella. She quickly approached him with a smile because she didn’t want to share her umbrella with a stranger. “You wantch chu share?” she asked, stretching out her hand with the umbrella in it. After he would agree to share (he hadn’t a lot of options because most had already found a partner to share it with), she would gesture him to hold the umbrella. “You are tchaller,” She shot him another smile, before jumping a little bit to get rid of the cold. Olly also jumped in excitement. “I can’t waitch for the storm and seeing tfe feathfers change,” she mumbled, her dark eyes sparkling and showing her excitement and curiosity.

“Good afternoon everyone. I am Professor Ryan, some might remember me as I subbed a few times over the years but if you are new, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” Kurt had probably encountered the man, but his memory wasn't the greatest. It was getting better, but sometimes his recall still failed him. Like when he bombed sat down for his midterms not too long ago. The boy wanted to blame it on something far-fetched like hormones. However, he knew better. He smiled nervously at the older man, lips clenched. His hands began to fidget in anticipation. With a pointed glare from a hulking fifth year, he lowered them. If Kurt had his way, he wouldn't be anywhere near someone who would likely beat him up. But as a taller person, it was only courtesy that he stand at the back.

As soon as he had entered the clearing, he had felt the creature's presence. It was a beautiful bird, the perfect balance of thundering chaos and rippling order. When he saw it, no, her - when he saw her flap her wings, he felt a sense of boundless adventure. Soaring through the skies: an uncontrollable spirit. Unlimited determination with no limits to curiosity. That was a life he aspired to live. Kurt had yet to realize that adventuring was more than just physical travel, but also the exploring of relationships and the thriving of human ideology at its lowest point. He had a long ways to go, and his lack of confidence wasn't helping.

Care of Magical Creatures was probably Kurt's favorite class due to the fact that he could interact with animals without getting hives. Cats, dogs, rats, and even toads: he was allergic to them all. Thus, he paid attention to the lesson so closely that his mouth was half-open the entire time. “You will see that I have brought several umbrellas to class today. There isn’t enough for everyone, so please share with friends. I’m going to let Tasha here fly. So, quickly, grab an umbrella,” the professor stated. Panic began to set in. Everyone was scrambling to get partners, yet everywhere Kurt looked, someone he knew was already holding tight to someone else. He began to resign himself to a lonely fate. It would be a wet fate, yet something he didn't mind. A part of him wanted to truly witness the prowess of his house mascot. He wanted to behold its majesty before he had to return to Ilvermorny's corridors as just another kid. Kurt just stared emptily, locked into some kind of trance as Tasha prepared to take flight.

“You wantch chu share?” a girl's voice brought him back into the present. "Hmmmmm?" Kurt sounded absentmindedly before realizing what was being asked of him. "Oh, uh, sure. Thanks, Olyvia."

She then gestured for him to hold the umbrella. “You are tchaller.” It was a funny-looking umbrella with a duck's head carved into its handle. Kurt smiled once again, lopsided and goofy. He took it, holding the umbrella high above them but tilting it at an angle where they both could see Tasha rising into the sky. Olyvia had smiled back at him before jumping to warm herself up. It was kind of fun watching her curls bounce. The boy began to shiver a little bit. All of this standing still was finally getting to him. It was cold, and being the teenager that he was, he had to move around a bit. Kurt hugged his own body, rubbing the opposite arm with his hand. The duck's beak would serve as a nice backscratcher, Kurt thought while he waited. Though he was hesitant to use it in fear that the duck would animate and bite his robes. He looked at his companion, unsure of what to say.

“I can’t waitch for the storm and seeing tfe feathfers change.”

"Me neither," his voice cracked but he didn't let that stop him from watching her excitement. "It will be amazing, for sure. I can feel it."

Kurt seemed to be absentminded. The sound that he made after Olyvia asked him to share was kind of cute. The boy was probably fascinated by the creature, the representative of their house. Tasha was indeed a beautiful Thunderbird, Olyvia was happy that it represented their house. The fact that she shared the same house as Kurt made her even happier. She wouldn’t know how many times she would be lost in the castle without his help. It was to have someone familiar in the beginning of her year. The boy agreed to share the funny umbrella, he even held it perfectly for them to see the storm unfold. His smile was adorable.

Even though Olyvia was getting rid of the cold herself, she noticed her housemate shivering, as well. It made her feel a bit bad. Should she hug him or would that be inappropriate? It would smart because they could help each other. The girl didn’t really know how the boy thought about personal space or what was considered appropriate. If she had to believe recent rumors, he did have a crush on a girl and was really open about it. From Valentine, she also knew that he had a crush. So, the wild-haired girl decided that she would have to keep herself, even though she didn’t listen to rumors most of the time. She heard his voice crack as they talked about being excited. Fortunately, she shared that emotion with the boy.

The Thunderbird started her storm with all ease. Olyvia's brown eyes sparkled as she noticed the colors of the feathers change. They were matching with the storm like a chameleon. The storm started to develop and it started to drizzle before changing quite quickly to full on rain. It was as if the sky was crying and the creature had full control of it. Her face was filled with curiosity, amazement, and admiration for her house’s representative. “So pretty,” Olly said absentminded. The creature took her full attention. She didn’t even notice that her body was almost getting wet as she unconsciously had stepped a few small steps forward, totally captured by the beautiful Thunderbird. “I want chu be closer,” she murmured.

The wind picked up, causing Kurt to squint in the dry winter air. Tears began to form on his waterline. The tempest reflected vividly in his stormy eyes. His runny nose sniffled as he felt himself lose moisture all over, observing the creature as she flapped her wings and generated more wind. The ducky umbrella threatened to fly from his grip. Finally, rain fell from the heavens, muting the electric tension in the atmosphere that had made the hairs on his arm raise. “So pretty,” Olyvia's voice sounded. Though in that moment, her words were lost to Kurt as he was gripped by awestruck wonder. He savored every detail. He was determined to do well on this assignment. Pale knuckles turned white as they gripped the handle in anticipation.

“I want chu be closer.”

This time, he heard her. The boy nodded before responding quietly with a "yeah" of his own. It would be nice to get a better view: one that would ensure that he wouldn't be unpleasantly drenched. He wouldn't be surprised if the water that would coat his body started to freeze on him. Kurt didn't notice when Olyvia took a few steps forward. Suddenly, a flash of lightning appeared, clapping with an earth-shattering sound. He could feel it rattle his teeth and travel all the way down to his toes. Kurt wasn't afraid of thunder, but he hadn't expected it to be so loud. Quickly, his hand gripped Olyvia's sleeve, pulling her back under the shelter of the umbrella and towards his body. He wasn't sure if it was a protective instinct or a fearful instinct, but whatever it was, it was something new. Kurt had never instigated an embrace of any sorts between them - that was Olyvia's job. Yet here he was, hand now encircling her wrist. Kurt blushed once he fully realized what he was doing.

"Ah, I'm sorry," he half-yelled over the sounds of the storm as he released her from his grip. Thankfully, the following thunder wasn't nearly as deafening. Kurt tried to pay attention as best as possible, but he was distracted over what he had done to Olyvia. His vision glassed over as he drifted in and out of focus, drowning in his own self-worth. Why? How could you be so stupid? Is she mad? I would be mad. A sigh rattled from his chest as he waited for the storm to end. Kurt was already beginning to forget all the mental notes he made during the lesson. There it was. Another classwork assignment down the drain. Shaking his head, he desperately tried to watch Tasha for any last observations as she began to finish up. Kurt was in panic mode.

The lightning had shocked Olyvia to her bones. It felt as Tasha had lured her into taking a few forward with her wonderful, beautiful feathers. The change had intrigued her so much that Olly hadn’t thought about the dangers. In the past, she had looked at thunderstorms from afar. She never knew something that looked so beautiful from a distance could be so loud and scary. For a second, it felt like the only thing she could see was white. It was like something enormous had exploded beside her. She could only hear the sound of something incredibly heavy hitting the ground near her. Her senses felt attacked and she hadn’t even noticed that Kurt had grabbed her sleeve to ‘save’ her from the loud lightning. The next thing her senses noticed was a particular scent.

Somehow, she had stumbled with her face first against her friend’s body by the pull from him. It surprised her that the boy was strong enough to do that. He was obviously taller than her but quite lean. She would have never imagined that such an innocent person could be extremely masculine, as well. Another surprise was the incredibly nice smell that filled her nose. She loved it somehow. Olly looked up when she heard Kurt yelling at her, trying to apologize. Their faces were incredibly close in the embrace-like situation they were in. She noticed the blush on his face, which made her face heat up, as well. Luckily, her complexion didn’t show it as well as Kurt’ fair complexion. This was the first time that the boy had instigated an embrace. It made it feel quite special, especially thinking that her housemate probably wanted to protect her from the lightning. It suddenly wasn’t cold anymore. The situation brought so much heat to her body, and her heart was beating quite hard.

Somehow Olyvia didn’t like it that the boy let her wrist go. She also unconsciously took a small step back, glancing at his face one more time. The Thunderbird immediately averted her gaze and focused on his shoes instead. Just looking at his face made butterflies in her stomach starting to erupt. Yes, Kurt was her type of boy to crush on. He was quite attractive, but she had seen their relationship as platonic including her views on him. In the past, she had guy friends before that were really attractive to her. This was the first time that she felt butterflies in her stomach. Because of the incident, she felt awkward looking at his face. She saw him in a different light. Was it the smell? Was it the cute apology for nothing? Or was it that he tried to protect her from lightning? Olly could tell that it was a combination of all that. Within her mind, she started to gather all of her knowledge while her heart was still beating like crazy. She quickly looked at the boy with a genuine bright smile. “Do notch apologize. I should thank you…. So… Thanks…” The longer she stared at Kurt’s face the less confident her words were. After she told him that, she couldn’t help herself. She was still staring at him with the same sparkling eyes of amazement when they first met. The girl noticed him shaking his head, which made her giggle. “You really didn’t do anything wrong,” she told him again, hoping to get rid of the awkward situation.

You smell really nice, by the way,” Olly put her hands to her mouth, surprised at what she said. Her habit in awkward situations was to say her thoughts out loud. It would probably surprise him a lot, as well. Her sudden compliment suddenly made her remember about some of the gossips she had heard. “Oh, I shouldn’t say that.I heard you have a girlfriend,” she said at bit disappointment, turning her to look back at Tasha again. Why did she have to feel like this towards him suddenly, when she knew the rumors between him and Niamh.

Kurt had missed what she had said earlier in his embarrassment, but her words finally travelled up to his ears. “You really didn’t do anything wrong.”

Really? He didn't? He stared at her open-mouthed. Although the giggle beforehand could've tipped him off that her reassurance was fake, the Thunderbird wanted to believe her. As far as he knew, Olyvia hadn't lied to him before. She did seem very honest. How her skin and hair were all-natural. How she didn't pity him. How she never really seemed to change. He admired her ability to be true to herself. Kurt could only hope to reach such a point one day, and what better way than to watch and learn? He smiled. Relief crashed down on his body like a refreshing waterfall. Their physical closeness did not unnerve him anymore. "Thanks, Olyvia." He hadn't been quite sure how to respond, but those words felt right. To thank her for not only forgiving him, but also for being herself.

Kurt returned his gaze to the sky, motivation filling his being. He would do well on this assignment. He could do it. I can do it! A victory was in his future. The adventurous boy could feel it. However, he did not expect what Olyvia would say next. “You smell really nice, by the way,” she had said, her hands raising to her mouth cutely. Cutely? What? Part of him was happy and the other part was confused. It was enlightening to know that he smelled pleasant - puberty was something he feared, and no matter how many discreet armpit sniffs he tried to do, he couldn't really smell anything. He thought about asking the twins for their opinion, but that would've been weird. Kurt knew that this was probably just Olyvia being Olyvia, but such an offhanded compliment still messed with his curious brain. What in Merlin's name caused her to say that? Was it just a casual observation? Or was it... something more?

A startling blush rose to his cheeks. "Er... thanks? Thanks again." You smell good, too. It was true: she smelled a lot like fruit. Kurt rather enjoyed how it wasn't a sickly-sweet perfume-y scent, but rather a fresh aroma that reminded him of his foster mother's infamous pies. Just like home. Home...

“Oh, I shouldn’t say that. I heard you have a girlfriend.”

"W-what? ME? A g-g-girlfriend?" Kurt pointed at himself after looking around to see if she was talking to any of their classmates nearby. Nope. It was just them. Kurt looked down at her, rubbing his temples with his unoccupied hand. He refrained from sighing. She must have been talking about the incident with Niamh.

"Oh, no, um... That was a mistake. I'm sorry, I don't really know how to explain it," he confessed. The introverted boy really didn't know about the Amortentia. All he knew was that he lost control of his body just like he had many times in the past, and it was one of the most terrifying things ever. It took him a few seconds to realize that he had a sorrowful expression on his face. Olyvia's openness must have been rubbing off on him. Kurt attempted to find a silver lining, smiling boyishly when he found one. There literally was a silver lining in the sky as the sun peeked through the storm clouds. The rain had now become a slight drizzle. He spoke softly, "though I think it's fun and nice to compliment someone, even if they are dating."

Kurt really was clueless.

The Thunderbird flapped her wings, descending to the ground. Tasha truly was beautiful. Immediately, he lowered the ducky umbrella, making sure to shake it out away from his companion. Water droplets sparkled through the air. He didn't notice the faint rainbow in the sky as he was too busy trying to keep the duck head from biting him. It took him a few tries, but he finally closed it. Kurt laughed a little at the quack sound it made. The raven-haired pioneer really wanted to interact with Tasha, but unfortunately, there was a long line. Bummer. "So, um, do you want to sit down at a picnic table to work on our essays while we wait? Hopefully they're not wet..." he began to wander to the area, a confidence in his step. Without hesitation, he plopped on the bench, penning what he had just witnessed as quickly as he could. Once he reached a stopping point, he glanced at Olyvia's paper innocently. It was comforting to know that her spelling wasn't much better than his.

The Thunderbird is a magnificent creeture that is said to represent an adventurous spirit. While some may feel indiffirent, I feel like I was personly effected by its beauty. Let me tell you all about what I saw...

The response to her reassurance that Kurt hadn’t done anything wrong, felt a bit weird. Did you say ‘thanks’ to such a thing? It was probably because her skills in English that made her a bit confused. Maybe, he was happy to know that it really didn’t bother her? Thanking another was still polite, so she was still grateful that the girl A different side to her wasn’t that happy, though. That side was afraid of a heart attack, because of the pace of her heart at that moment. The feelings were really messing with her mind. It felt weird, yet right to feel. Her brain was suddenly picking up on things that it wasn’t before. Things that made her heart beat, her hands sweaty and her entire body temperature go up a few degrees. “No problem,” Olyvia spoke with a smile.

The compliment that was freed from her lips before she could filter it, seemed to be well received. At least, the boy thanked her again and his cheeks were rose-colored. The difference between his fair skin and the redness that started to appear looked really innocent and cute. It had been the second time that she had complimented him without any reason or cause. She wondered if Kurt was thinking about why she had said that. He probably thought about it when she had complimented his captivating eyes when they first met. There was some lust for a compliment for her from him. Something that confirmed that he noticed the same things that she suddenly noticed from him. Just one thing that confirmed that it was normal to feel things like these for friends. Unfortunately, nothing left his mouth – besides a thanks – until Olly mentioned the girlfriend part.

Her heart felt warm when Kurt seemed to be surprised by the question, and a relieved smile appeared on her face. The boy looked at her, rubbing his temples. It made her feel sorry. Did she cause him to get a headache? Maybe something happened between Niamh and him that he didn’t want to remember or tell. The male Thunderbird confessed that he didn’t know how to explain it. That it was a mistake. He even apologized for not being able to explain. It made her really curious, which was noticeable in her concerned, yet curious eyes. It did sound like something happened that might have happened and broken his heart. Did that confirm that his heart wasn’t hers? Cause she suddenly started to envy Niamh, even though she didn’t even know who exactly that was. The sorrowful expression on his face made her. His words really brought her into an inner conflict. A conflict filled with emotions, she didn’t fully understand at her age.

Thatch is true, I’ll remember thatch. Itch is great that you don’t have one,” she blurted out after Kurt told her that giving compliments were nice even if the person was dating. Her filter was still not working properly because of her confused mind. Maybe she should just shut up. She became flustered because of her own words. “Uhm.. I mean… I’ve had boyfr- I mean - guy friends in the past and their uuhmm… girlfriends didn’t like it if I talked chu them,” she clarified, fidgeting with her hands and robes. The flapping of the Thunderbird’s wings stole her attention from Kurt. “Wow, there is a rainbow,” she murmured, mesmerized by the creature and its abilities. Olyvia giggled as she observed her friend trying to close the umbrella. It looked really cute and Kurt-like. The curly-haired girl wanted to help him, but before she could take a step towards him, he was able to close it. “Sure!” she said happily. Tasha had taken some of the confusion that filled her brain with her beauty.

Olly followed Kurt’s confident steps towards the picnic table and taking the seat behind him. The contrast to the innocent boy, that tried to close the dangerous duck-umbrella - while laughing at its quacks, and the confident boy, that walked over to the picnic tables and sat down without any hesitation, was really charming, she noticed. That thought really made her puke for a second. Those thoughts were dangerous! While she was writing her – which took longer than most of her classmates because she wasn’t used to writing in English – Olyvia noticed that Kurt took a look at her mess of an essay.

Itch is bad, isn’t itch?” she pouted, a bit embarrassed. Some words were even in Brazilian Portuguese instead of English. The witch put her quill down and leaned up against Kurt’s shoulder/arm with her head/body in frustration. She had barely written four sentences but gave up. It was hard for her to write. What was harder was her drained body because of all the feelings she had had a few minutes prior. “Doesn’t tfe school have any magic quills thatch write while you speak,” she whispered. Leaning against Kurt’s body was quite comfortable. “I will justch have a quick nap, do y-” Olly’s voice became quieter until it totally disappeared. She had fallen asleep.

“Thatch is true, I’ll remember thatch. Itch is great that you don’t have one,” she had commented and Kurt raised an eyebrow. He was confused. Wasn't dating a good thing? Damian sure made it seem glorious. “Uhm.. I mean… I’ve had boyfr- I mean - guy friends in the past and their uuhmm… girlfriends didn’t like it if I talked chu them.”

"Oh, all right," he said. Things must have been different in Brazil.

Soon enough, they were at the table. Olyvia asked if her paper was bad, and Kurt shrugged. There were some words in Brazilian Portuguese. As English could be seen as a mishmash of other languages, he had just assumed that half of them were merely English words he didn't know. "No. I'm sure it's just fine. The professor should understand - maybe he will let you finish it for homework. You have a Portuguese-English dictionary, right?" Suddenly, she was leaning against him, her thick hair creating a nice cushion between his shoulder and her head. Kurt didn't know if it was the new humidity, his nerves, or the extra heat leaning on his body (or all three), but he was beginning to sweat a little in the cold. The pen was clammy in his hands. He decided to not say anything, writing gently as to not move his body too much.

Perhaps she is feeling unwell? She then asked about speech-to-text quills before he could say anything. He nodded.

"Yeah, I think so. Though I guess we don't have as much access to them since we can't speak during written tests."

Then, she said she was taking a nap. Kurt was about to say that it was a bad idea - his bony shoulder was definitely not the best pillow - but she had fallen asleep mid-sentence. After a pause, he awkwardly felt her forehead. The girl was pretty toasty. Maybe she had a fever. Kurt felt once again, the back of his cool hand clashing with her warm skin tone. What should he do? He glanced around, but so far, no one was approaching them. An arm snaked around her shoulders so that she wouldn't fall when he woke her up. Merlin, this is awkward. "Hey," he half-whispered as he shook her gently, "are you okay? Olyvia? Please wake up..." Cold eyes were melted with concern. He looked around for Professor Ryan, but the man was still by the Thunderbird.

Kurt had REALLY wanted to interact with Tasha. His heart longed for it. To feed her, to learn more about her behavior and the little things that made Tasha more than just a beast... And maybe a chance to feel those feathers... He wanted it more than anything, and there the opportunity was, right in front of him. The line that was once in front of the majestic Thunderbird had diminished considerably. But now he had to decide what was more important to him. A once-in-a-lifetime chance, or the health of one of his classmates? His dark brow was furrowed until he made his decision. Silently, he laid her down on the bench, doing it as slowly as possible as to not startle the girl. Then, he approached the professor for advice.

He neared the handsome professor with his companion, and once again Kurt was blasted by her mighty aura. The Thunderbird looked at his house's namesake with respect. So beautiful... Whoops. He was getting distracted again. "Hello, um, my friend over there fell asleep and I think she might be sick. She didn't wake up when I tried..." Kurt wasn't too knowledgeable about illnesses, but he found it weird that someone as energetic as her had fallen asleep. Not to mention that she was hot at the touch. Words failed to come to his mouth. Despite the man's seemingly-kind nature, he suddenly began to feel slightly nervous in Professor Ryan's presence. His hands began to fidget. Blue eyes looked up when the professor responded, giving him permission to take her to the wing if she was sick. "O-okay! Thank you, sir. I'll see if she will wake up again, and if not, I'll take her there."

How on earth would he do it? Sure, he had grown quite a lot, but it was more like the elongation of his boyish body instead of bulking up into a man-like form. Kurt didn't trust himself to carry her like one of those firemen; or a knight in a storybook. With Kurt's sense of balance, piggy-backs were too dangerous. He would have to settle for some kind of arm-over-shoulder thing unless one of his classmates could help him. An exhale came out in exasperation, trying to delay the inevitable as he submitted his essay. Kurt returned to the table, crouching beside her. "Olyvia? Can you hear me? Please answer," he shook her once again. Kurt brushed some of the hair off of her face. She looked so peaceful. So serene. It was completely different than how he usually saw her - he didn't know if he liked it or not. Another shake. "I'd really like for you to wake up... I can take you to the Hospital Wing if you're not feeling well."

OOC: Permission granted by Professor Ryan. Also, I hope it is fine that I assumed she didn't wake up? If not, then let me know. I'm cool with changing it.

Kurt apparently understood her weird clarification for her weird comment. She really had been a mess. After working a bit on their essay and her trouble with written English, the dark-haired boy suddenly told her something quite smart. “Oh, I do notch have one. Argggh, I’m stupid,” she hung down her head and sighed. Why didn’t she have one? Yes, she learned the languages at the same time while growing up. However, Portuguese was something that she had learned from someone native. Both of her parents spoke English to each other and her, but their English wasn’t the best. In her youth, Olly also used Brazilian Portuguese the most. At that time, she suddenly felt exhausted so decided to use her friend as a pillow. “I wantch one,” she said about the quills before dozing off.

The nap wasn’t that peaceful, even though it seemed like it was. It was hard to make sense of all the weird, vague things happening within them. The consistent of the dreams were familiar faces of her cousins, picking on her and teasing her about her heritage. It felt so real as if she was back in her third year at Uagadou. Her dream started to be even more violent when an earthquake happened. The boys started to speak in a voice that didn’t suit them. The voice belonged to someone way too precious to be a bully. Luckily, Olyvia slowly woke up from her nap. Despite the cold weather, she felt kind of hot. “Notch feeling well?” she mumbled, her eyes were slightly open. As slow as a turtle, she pushed herself back on her butt instead of laying down. Olly rubbed beside her eyes with her finger, trying to wake up again.

The girl looked at her classmate when she had finally properly woken up and processed what Kurt had been saying to her. “I feel tired. I think itch is because of the lack of sunshine, here. Itch is always sunny where I’m from,” she mumbled. Besides that, she also wasn’t used to the cold of March when they held the Care of Magical Creatures lesson. “Do I look ill?” she asked Kurt, still a bit sleepy, “ I do notch mind going if I do look like itch."

"Yes," he raised an eyebrow, "I mean, I think so. I don't know much about sicknesses, but you're really warm and seem out of it. Kind of like a fever. Do you think you have a fever?"

Kurt remained kneeling by the bench as he waited for her answer. However, no matter what she would say, he was determined. He WOULD take her to the Hospital Wing. This year was a year of daring and new friendships - not one for missed opportunities. The worst that could happen is that I get a little embarrassed, he reassured himself. His cheeks heated up at the thought. Getting embarrassed for potentially being embarrassed? That was definitely a Kurt thing. The Thunderbird sighed, but in such a way that it wouldn't be misinterpreted as impatience. He couldn't have that with one of his most precious friends. Kurt smiled, rising to his feet and stretching. The cold was making his bones stiff, and if he wanted to reach his destination flawlessly, then he would have to be physically prepared.

"Come on, let's get you up." Part of him felt bad for being forceful, but if he wasn't, then they probably wouldn't get anywhere.

He helped her to her feet, and then they began to walk. Their journey began as mostly silent from his end. "Hang in there... it will be okay," his voice cracked when they nearly stumbled over a curb. Kurt made sure they were steady. For some reason, he felt the urge to re-check her temperature. To lay his fingertips on her forehead. To brush her curls once more. To touch someone else... Kurt shook his head. What on earth was he thinking? Was this a part of growing up? If it was, then he really didn't like it. He had been physically standoffish for most of his life, and such desires were foreign to him. It pleasantly scary.

OOC: End this soon? Maybe we could end it with this post, or if you want to respond? Just let me know!
